SRQ Trolley has developed a tour dedicated to the history of Sarasota. Believe it or not Sarasota has a lot of history and heritage dating back to the 1900's. On this tour you will learn about the famous Ringling Brothers and their venture to create the "Greatest Show on Earth." You will also learn about the historical architecture from the 1940's to the 1960's when a group of Sarasota Architects came in and designed a modernist community. Also on the tour we will visit Historical Spanish Point and tell the incredible story of how it was created.
